Our management team boasts over 29 years of combined experience in projects nationwide. Our staff are highly talented experts with a passion for our clients and their projects.

Each Connex team is defined by the project they are delivering. Our teams are selected on a best-fit-basis. Connex has the resources to appoint the right people for each project based on technical skills and the role they will play in the broader construction team. Connex construction is fortunate to employ a talented pool of staff, across all levels, from Senior Management to our Cadets who bring experience in all market sectors. Nick Price

Managing Director, Dp Construction

As Managing Director for Connex Management & Constructions, Nick’s leadership of the company and ensuring all employees buy into the company vision. Setting the overall strategic direction of the company. Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives. With solid people management skills, Nick demonstrates leadership in service, safety and quality that he expects of his wider team.

Nick and his team ensure that the projects from the start are resources correctly and that each and every project is finished on time, within budget and to all stakeholders expectation. Although every project has its individual challenges and are assessed and managed with due diligence.

Nick is an enthusiastic and passionate professional with a solid background in Project Management. Nick has a Diploma in Construction and Building and over 15 years experience. During his time, he has been exposed to a multitude of projects which has all contributed to his diverse and comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry.

Nick’s determination, attitude and collaborative effort with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants & clients along with his multi skilled background and problem solving abilities has ensured the successful completion of each and every project undertaken.

Darren Ferns

Construction Director, BSc(ConstMgt)

Darren will be responsible for all issues relating to stakeholder and community engagement. He possesses strong issue management, community negotiation and mediation skills, which will help build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth project continuation.

During construction, Darren will maintain a good relationship with the client and project team involved, preform sub contractor negotiations, set original budgets, review budget transfers, monitor costs to date and forecast costs to complete in conjunction with the Project Teams.

Darren will manage the client, consultants, suppliers and sub contractors, monitor constructability and methodology of works, manage quality, safety and environmental task observations, and attend PCG & Design Meetings.

Darren started in roles onsite, progressing through site management and contracts administration roles to his current role as project manager. Darren has a genuine passion for the industry developing and leading highly engaged teams to achieve client, stakeholder and business objectives. He has a vast experience across a range of sectors including education, health, aged care, residential high rise and Retirement Villages. and interpersonal skills.

Enrico Polselli

Project Manager

Enrico is responsible for the overall management and execution of the construction project, including, planning, cost, quality, environmental and safety.

This is achieved through a thorough analysis and understanding of the project requirements and documentation.

Enrico will provide leadership, construction knowledge and support to the project team on an ongoing basis.

Enrico has managed projects across various sectors including government, health, aged care, food and beverage, industrial, infrastructure and education. His methodical approach ensures project programme, technical and commercial objectives are achieved through adequate planning and subcontractor management. Enrico communicates regularly with client representatives during project progress to ensure satisfaction and strengthen relationships.

Jon Price

Project Manager, Dp Construction

Jon’s role at Connex is managing and leading the contracts administrators, Project planning and development, Contract Review, Contract Recommendations, Budgeting and Programming. Jon understands the needs and expectations to meet the clients requirements and to provide leadership and management throughout each and every project, to give clear direction and make informed decisions that are needed to ensure the projects are delivered on budget and on time.

As a Project Manager at Connex, Jon provides the Leadership, Management and Technical capabilities required to:

  • Ensure the financial and compliance (HSE, Quality, HR, Plant & procurement) targets are consistently achieved in the delivery of all projects 
  • Ensure that all assigned projects are effectively planned and scheduled, delivering consistent quality performance to our customers on time and within budget.
  • Ensure the project team deliver quality performance and consistently achieve their targets and goals to provide client satisfaction in project delivery providing opportunities to create return business.

Troy Collins

Contracts Administrator

Troy will prepare tender documentation, procure pricing, assist in tender evaluation and provide ongoing commercial support as in conjunction with the project team to service the head and subcontractors. He will assist the project team with head contract variations, internal variations, notice of delays, extension of time and other claims. As the Contracts Administrator, Troy ensures all registers and schedules are maintained, along with the procurement program.

Troy has been in the commercial construction industry for 12 years, beginning his career as a carpenter then completing his degree in construction management at the university at the University Of New South Wales. His Contracts Administration experience includes various types of construction projects ranging from retail, infrastructure, hospitality, age care, education and heritage projects. Troy’s qualifications and experience within the commercial construction industry offer both project team leadership and complete project life cycle ownership. His knowledge of building materials and construction processes enables him to work creatively and analytically in challenging environments and repeatedly achieve program objectives to a high level of client satisfaction.

Ben Marshall

Ben has been in the construction industry for 5 years. He began his career with a façade company in Sydney working with multiple tier one builders on large scale residential and commercial projects. Ben then moved to a residential building company where he spent most his time working alongside a senior CA on two multi-story residential buildings. Here Ben developed his Contract Administration experience with an emphasis for procurement and an eye for detail. Ben has since worked across multiple commercial and residential project continually expanding his knowledge on building materials and construction processes. Ben prides himself on producing quality work and providing clear communication to his team.

Brent Moselen

Site Manager

Brent will be overseeing the day-to-day running operations of the site, liaising will all parties involved – from tradesman to consultants to clients.

He will be planning the works in detail, monitoring and reporting on the progress, as well as sorting out any problems as they arise. It is his duty to make sure that the deadline for completing work is met.

As the Site Manager, Brent ensures all site registers, inspections and schedules are maintained, along with the construction program, and is responsible for ensuring that work complies with building regulations and health & safety obligations are met, as well as other legal requirements.

Brent has been in the construction industry for 25 years, commencing his career as a trade carpenter then, undertaking an Architectural Technology certificate and more recently completing a Diploma in Project Management.

His construction experience includes several types of construction projects – ranging from fuel station, restaurant, retail, education, government and defence, heritage and residential projects.

Brent’s experience, tertiary education and continued learning within the construction industry, present a site leadership and project ownership package – critical thinking, collaboration and people management, along with his knowledge of construction methods and materials, allows him to work autonomously, resourcefully and productively. He has proven achievements in challenging environments, and repeatedly accomplishes project objectives to a high level of client satisfaction.
